Description
Seminar and movie session After a bicycle tour around the world (1993-1994) and the grand traverse of the Himalaya ranges (1997), Alexandre and Sonia Poussin made the first successful attempt to cross the African Continent on foot, unassisted (2001-2004, http://www.africatrek.com). They took 39 months to walk from one end to the other of the Great Rift Valley, trying to symbolically remake the first journey of the first men. The seminar consists of two parts: a projection of the movie "Africa Trek: In the Footsteps of Mankind" (about 2h) and a 1h seminar/discussion about the modus operandi of their walk and the way they experienced multi-culturalism.
