Description
Old Jeddah is made up of four districts with narrow streets -each with a name that tells its story-, and comprised of six to seven hundred homes - some buildings as old as 300 to 400 years old. Sawi Nawar will walk you through the old city and provide historical details about what we pass. Trip Schedule: Depart KAUST: 8:30 am sharp from the bottom of the steps outside the Student Center (Building 18 - opposite from Shoro restaurant) Arrive Jeddah - 10:30am Visit old Jeddah - until noon Lunch - at Naseef House, considered a symbol of Jeddah's rich past Leave Jeddah - 2pm Arrive KAUST- approximately 4:00 pm A small fee of SAR-75 will be requested to make arrangements for transportation and lunch.
