Description
General lecture on caves in Saudi Arabia, bones, artifacts and rare minerals found in them and the potential for a wide variety of scientific projects which could be carried out underground. Note: To attend the lava cave field trip (WEP 116 C), field trip participants should have attended this lecture and its related course (WEP 116 B) as well.

U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in Jamaica. MAT from School for International Training, Brattleboro Vermont. Lived and taught in Italy, Jamaica, South Korea, Spain, France, Saudi Arabia and Mexico. Explored and studied Saudi Arabia's caves from 1981 to present. Spent four years with Saudi Geological Survey in cave-related projects. Presently teaches English at the Monterrey Tec University, Guadalajara, Mexico.
