Description

The Personal Pathway to Innovation, a 2 and a half hour morning session, will provide participants with a detailed outline of individualized and actionable next steps that will increase their opportunities for innovation.  In order to push the boundaries of science and engineering, innovators must master the art of selling their new ideas by thoroughly investigating the unique needs and opportunities within their respective fields and networking with likeminded individuals and key decision makers.

Pushing the boundaries of science and engineering involves compelling hypotheses, rigorous testing, meticulous documentation and thorough analyses.  The innovative ideas that arise from these efforts have the potential to open up new lines of inquiry and solve significant problems.  However, before these ideas can move beyond the laboratory, they must be presented to and accepted by the wider field of experts who serve as gatekeepers for any given discipline whether it be physics, biology or engineering. 

This is a single session course.  If you sign up for Session B, we ask that you do not sign up for Session A as it is a duplicate session.
