Description
A lecture on the future of artificial intelligence:
We discussed to split the AI session intro three main themes, and here are some suggestions on participants, ranked by preference (I have added some women):
0. Introductory talk on all aspects of AI:
0.1 Peter Norvig (Google)
0.2 John Searle (Berkeley); creator of Chinese Room argument, philosopher of mind and AI
0.3 Francesca Rossi (University of Padova); Francesca is president of IJCAI, editor in chief of JAIR, elected fellow of AAAI, etc, so she could well give the introductory talk. Her research would mostly fit in Theme 2 on Symbolic AI.
